Jonathan sent a message to Peter Agne President and CEO, IKEA that said:
I ordered a trolley for my wife, it arrived in the wrong color but she liked it and kept it and ordered another one in the original color and a completely different piece of furniture arrived. Here are the comments from my wife trying to resolve this with IKEA USA
"I've been on the phone with them three times. The third time, I couldn't get through again and hung up. The second time, we were making progress, I told her my problem, I got a reference #, she was asking me for the article number, I gave it to her, she put me on hold, they were going to arrange to pick up that item and reship the correct one, so she put me on hold, I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait, she comes back. "Small mix up, the number I need isn't on the shipping label it's actually on the item itself........" and the line was disconnected as if she hung up on me. I didn't touch the phone because I had it sitting on my table on speaker phone. So if what she says is true, I have to take the whole thing out of the box and search for a number, and call them back and wait again. It's a 20-30 minute wait and I request they call me instead. Then I wait that length of time. I'm ready to cry. They are there till 9pm. My patience wore out at 11:30 a.m."
Can a company really be this incompetent in 2015?
