Dennis Laurie sent a message to William H. Rogers, Jr. - Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of SunTrust Banks - Email Address that said:
I own a SunTrust Credit Card on which I carry a continuous balance. Unfortunately it was used to take a Cash Advance. Now, unless I pay the full amount of my balance, I cannot pay down the Cash Advance which accrues interest at a higher rate. In essence, until I am able to pay So, even though I pay considerably more than a minimum required payment, no money will be allocated to the higher interest balance until the lower interest balance is paid in full.
It was my understanding (and frankly, the understanding of the branch people), that the Federal Government would not approve. Please respond.
