Linda sent a message to Terry J. Lundgren- Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Macys, Inc. – email address that said:
I paid off my Macy's account, ending in 1550, in July 2016. To date the check that was sent, in the amount of $929.90, has not been credited to my account. I received a collection call in August 2016. I then checked with my Credit Union and the check had been cashed and cleared on 7/13/2016. I figured that the funds just had not been credited yet, and I didn't think about it again. I got another collection call in October 2016, right after my house was flooded. So I got a copy of the check emailed to me from the Credit Union. I did fax a copy to the Payment Research Dept. on 10/27/2016. There is no excuse for such sloppy accounting. I want this resolved by 11/2/2016 with all funds due to me credited back to me. I don't need this extra stress right now.
I don't know if you can do anything, but if you can it will be much appreciated.
