Raqiyah James sent a message to William H. Spence - Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of PPL Corporation - Email Address that said:
I PPL has taken two payments over $1000 from my checking acct. When the first payment was made, my utilities got cut off. I was told that the csr did not toally process payment. I made a subsequent payment and both payments were processed, over $2,000. This has caused my checking account to bounce numerous over payments and has put me in dire financial straits. I was initially told that I would receive a check for the isecond payment in the mail in ten days. That was not agreeable to me and I was then told I would receive an overnight check. I have not received that check and am getting the run around from customer service. They cannot provide a tracking number or any other information regarding this matter. I do not understand why they cannot deposit refund into my checking account since they have the capability to take money from it. I am contacting the PA Department of Public utilities and may possibly began a class action lawsuit because this is illegal. I will be contacting the major tv networks if there is no resolution ASAP
