I read the sad news today that the mansion will be put up for sale. I really think playboy needs to take the time and find the right buyer. There are hundreds of celebrities in the LA area who would be more than willing to donate money towards creating a charitable and historical organization which would buy the playboy mansion. The mansion would then be used to continue to host parties such as midsummer night dream, halloween, and other events that could raise money for charities, and preserve the mansion as a historical treasure. Wouldn't it be a good idea to get some really good Hollywood money together and create a historical/charitable society that can use the mansion to hold regular events to raise money for charity. I hope this idea gets explored because I would hate to see the mansion go to the highest bidder, only to be torn down, and don't forget about all the animals who would lose their long time home. The problem is that money talks with everything on our planet. In this case you need the right kind of money to do all the talking in this point of what can decide the fate of an American icon. The idea of a historical society in the holmby hills neighborhood would be a good vibe and I think once you and your dad get this idea into play it will be a sure win!
