I received a new KitchenAid mixer for Christmas and am totally, totally disappointed in its performance. As a result of this gift , I relinquished my 45-year old KitchenAid to the Salvation Army and never had a problem in all those years! The new unit does not mix to the bottom of the bowl, making it necessary to mix the rest of it by hand. What is the use?? I am so very disenchanted with this product and my daughter asks me why I am not using it, since I bake for the Friendship Table, a charitable organization which feeds daily meals to the disenfranchised in Bradford. At the present time, I am researching other brands....making sure the beaters, et al, reach the bottom of the bowl. Thank you for listening to me rant!!
