I received an email from Richard Silos:
Our NH Station West Entrance project was selected Outstanding Active Transportation Project pf the Year by the ASCE MLAB.....Congratulations
I was with AECOM at that time (19 years) as an architect on that project.
I asked both Richard Silos Steve Polechronis if they will pay for me to attend the event. Their response was:
Hi Rivka. Im awfully sorry but Im just not in a position to do that. Budgets are super tight. I wish I have the authority to do that.....
To me just as a principle it is so sad. It is not the only project I worked on while with AECOM to win awards recognition from the industry.
