Aoife sent a message to Peter Agne President and CEO, IKEA – email address that said:
I received an ikea order today and am absolutely irate that your delivery driver drove onto our garden that was just finished being seeded today. I then contacted customer service and was advised that I would have to contact the delivery service myself as there was nothing they could do. This is appalling customer service. The property is on half an acre and it is incomprehensible as to why he drove on the garden when there is so much space.
The delivery company provides a service to you and I should not have had to contact them directly. I am shocked that such a large organisation does not look after their customers more efficiently.
I expect this to be dealt with and compensated accordingly and without delay.
