John Rowland sent a message to Jeff Dailey Chief Executive Officer of Farmers Group, Inc. Email Address that said:
I recently became my moms Power of Attorney. Her investment advisor was concerned about her failing memory. One of their biggest concerns was a pair of checks totaling just over $11000. Mom signed the checks but someone else filled them out. The checks were made out to a pool cleaning service owned by Moms farmers insurance agent. It turns out Farmers Insurance contacted Mom and told her she had to fix her roof. When Mom asked her agent to recommend a roofing company he had her make out the checks to his company then hired a man who doesnt have a contractors license to do the work. I know that Farmers doesnt allow Agents to recommend services and this Agent ran the money through his own company to boot. My mom needs a new agent. I do not want to talk to her Agent. I have sent my POA paper work to the district office I want her transferred to and they have shared that info with the district she is in now. I have been a Farmers costumer for 20 years now and I am truly disappointed with this situation. When I first figured out that Farmers was involved I was sure this problem could be resolved quickly. Now I feel like I am getting the run around. I do not trust Moms agent and I do not trust the people at the distict office over that agent. Please help me resolve this issue ASAP. Thank you John Rowland
