Nora sent a message to William H. Rogers, Jr. CEO, SunTrust Banks, Inc. – email address that said:
I recently placed my daughters Social security checks in my newly opened account. I went in and withdrew the exact amount of of my account and gave it to her. I had always done this at my Bank of America account. I had no idea it would give me this many problems or I would have never opened an account with SunTrust ever!!!!!!! They not only won't release my daughters Social Security but, they won't allow me to access any of my own money from my VA Benefits. Now, I'm threatened with eviction. I can pay any bills. Your bank caused me to have a credit score of 523 from bouncing checks in my account. My credit score was 687 that's a big difference. This is ridiculous. I have spoken to a branch manager and he was very rude and acted like he didn't care and didn't help at all. I have called and gotten no kind of real answer. My daughter called Social security and they say the checks have been cashed. SunTrust said She needs to get social security to give her more checks. I am confused.... I also received a letter in the mail saying the would release my money in 5-15 days but, it's been 15 days and no money. I also was told that a check from SunTrust was sent to me but, I NEVER Received any check. I wish I had!!!!!!!!!! I need my money and for this to be fixed. If this is not resolved shortly I'm hiring a lawyer. My daughter in going to Social Security tomorrow. Please call me if you can resolve this problem.
Sincerely, Nora
