mr colin sent a message to Mark Fields President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company email address that said:
I recently purchased a 15 plate ford kuga. I am experiencing problems with the engine management light having come on. The vehicle went into furrows the local dealer in shrewsbury. They failed to determine the fault and a further booking was made to take the vehicle in. Still no joy and a further booking made for 14th March. I have now a week later been advised they cannot take my vehicle on this date as a certain member of staff will not be available and a further date has now been set for the 21st March. At no time have I been able to arrange a cutesy vehicle which is most inconvenient.furthermore the severe engineer advised me that until they determine the fault it might not be covered by the warranty as a mouse could have possibly chewed into the wiring what a farcical situation. If this is the best after sales service one can expect I wish I hadn't bought the vehicle but had stuck to jaguar whose service is second to none. I am still using the vehicle but wonder if any damage is being done until this dealer can determine the problem. Regards colin
