Terry and Angela sent a message to Hubert Joly President and CEO, Best Buy – email address that said:
I searched to find someone who might be able to help me with my problem that I am having with your company Best Buy. I have tried and tried to get someone to help me and I am at my wits end so I found your name and email and I am hoping you might help me.
Last week I purchased a dishwasher from your company and was contacted that it would be delivered today between 8 and 12. I took the day off of work to be here and at 12:05 when no one had shown up I proceeded to call and check on it. I have spent the last 6 hours being past off from one person to the next and no one helping me.
I was assigned a case manager named Matt Doherty not sure on the spelling of his last name so I can tell you his phone number .He told me at 1:00 that the installer had not brought out my dishwasher because it was missing the plug which he didn't understand because they always keep extras on their trucks. He told me that he would contact them directly and would get back to me shortly. After over 2 hours I called back and he told me that he hadn't heard anything as he is not allowed to contact that department by phone just email and they had not written him back. I explained my frustration of which he had no concern for and he told me all he could do since he hadn't heard back was to contact the field manager next. He said he would call me back within 2 hours and let me know something. He did not so after 3 hours I called him and again he said he knew nothing. I asked to speak to his boss and he said that there was no one higher I could speak with and besides they would know less than him.
I asked him what am I suppose to do I have paid $856.84 for a dishwasher I do not have. He said that he "probably" could have it delivered on Friday. Well I have already lost one day's pay and I cannot afford to lose another on the possibility your company may decide to deliver my dishwasher.
I asked over and over for a name and contact of someone with authority and Matt Doherty refused to provide this to me. I have no idea what to do and I am so frustrated that I wasted a day's pay for your company to just blow me off and no one can help me.
If you look up my name in your system (Terry and Angela Rippee) you should be able to see I have purchased thousands of dollars of merchandise from your company from TVs, laptops, game systems, a refrigerator and my very last purchase ever was my no show dishwasher.
Somebody should be able to help me . I am hoping you will know who that person is that can figure why my dishwasher was not delivered and what I do now.
