I seriously think I know how to improve sales with Kmart, starting with the Christmas season. I have grown children but have contact with those who have school age children. Each year the list they must purchase grows and if they do not provide supplies throughout the years, the teachers must and their salaries are not good to begin with. So my idea is that Kmart offer points or discounts for purchases made in your stores that will earn them school supplies throughout the year because they become more costly once school is in session. The more they buy and spend with Kmart, the more school supplies they can earn. Even offering blue light specials of basic school supplies during Christmas would be great. Lots of parents out there and I am sure most would love this. Let me know what you think. Patricia. I have not mentioned this to any other stores
