I shop at the Dollar Tree store in Stuart, FL almost 2x per week and purchased a few items on 12/4/16 one of which was a battery powered toothbrush. I opened the package and it didn't work with the battery provided, so I then inserted my own battery and it still didn't work. I tried to return it because I've purchased items in the past and just ended up throwing them out when they didn't work and was tired of throwing money away. I tried to return at my first opportunity which was 2-days later and the store manager refused because the package had been opened. I think her name was Dee. You have to open the package to in order to find this out, so your return policy is ridiculous!!! I don't know how your company gets away with this. Am so disappointed. Every dollar adds up and I work very hard for all of my dollars.
