TAKE CARE OF THIS!

Good morning,

I writing to notify you of a very costly, and inconvenient experience that I had on my most recent flight with SWA.
First, I want to let you know how much I love flying with SWA. I go out of my way to fly with you guys (just check my history).

My flight from Houston to Liberia was delayed, due to weather, for approximately 20-25 minutes. This was a full flight. After what seemed like an unusually long boarding process the pilot began making announcements that "we are waiting for those to board whose flights have been delayed, because we're the last flight out, and we want to get them to their destination."
I thougt this was a bit unusual?
We continued to wait for about an hour. Finally, after everyone had made it onto the plane we began to taxi.
We were fifth in line. And then the pilot announce that we are going to wait for a line of storms to pass. And we did.

The problem is that I had a connection in Liberia with Sansa Air, a domestic airline. I find it hard to believe that I'm the was the only one with a connection to make in Liberia.

All of this said, I missed my connection by over 30 minutes. I had a comfortable cushion of over two hours before we began the delays in Houston.

I was to pick up my rental car in Tambor, C.R., and I was to travel to Tambor via Sansa Air, which is missed.

There were no rental cars to be had in Liberia, so my only option was to get to Tambor to have a car.

So I was stuck in Liberia for the night to give me time to make arrangements to get to Tambor the next day.

The inconvenience was one thing, but the expense of this problem was quite another.

Additional expenses incurred: Hotel in Liberia Hilton $265
Taxi to Tambor for car $225
Missed flight to Tambor $118
Missed nights (1) at
ultimate destination $60
Payment for first day
of rental car that I
didn't use $67
Missing a whole day of
my C.R. vacation Priceless

One other thing to note is that the contents of my checked bag were soaked when I opened it the next day!

I would like compensation for this.

Thanks
