I thought I should send you the email I sent to the CEO of Kenmore products. I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator about 2 years ago from Sears. The first refrigerator did nor function properly so Sears had to pick it up and deliver another one to me. Up until a week ago it was doing well. Sears/Kenmore changed the water filter supposedly to an upgrade and when I installed it the refrigerator began making unfamiliar noises. I called customer service immediately and after being put on hold 3 times and being told to check the internet for advice I questioned why I could not just return the filter. I was put on hold for the 4th time. Upon his return I was told that a new filter would be shipped to me. At this point my dilemma is that I am afraid to put
another filter on because I feel that Sears should have sent a technician to see why the filter produced this noise. This was the 3rd filter I have put on and I have never had a problem such as this and in addition the worst customer service ever. I have been shopping with sears since it was Sears and Roebuck. I need to purchase another costly appliance from Sears but because of the experience with this refrigerator I am afraid. Please advise. Thank You for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.
