Davis sent a message to Doug McMillon CEO, Walmart that said:
I wanted to share with you my frustration with your website. Putting payment information on the same screen with shipment information is wrong. While updating payment information I neglected to update the shipping information.Amazon whom you wish to compete has it right- they ask for confirmation of the shipping address on a separate screen. And to top it all off, your site does not provide a way to correct the problem even within 10 minutes - even after 3 e-mails to your customer service department within 2 hours. Then to tell me to dispute the charge and then resolve the dispute by saying its a valid charge since it was shipped to the incorrect address. Your customer service department is full of winners asking us to chase our tails - bottom line is you guys dont care if the customer receives his order. Here is one of the responses from your customer service. We are sorry your order is going to the wrong address. Unfortunately, we cannot make any changes once the order is placed. Weâve placed a request to intercept your order. If the shipment is successfully stopped, you will receive a refund. If you do not receive a refund within 5 days of this email, please contact your credit card issuer to dispute the charges. If you have additional questions, please reply to this email and we'll be happy to assist.Good luck trying to catch Amazon. Perhaps it might help if you actually cared about the consumer.
