Myron sent a message to Hubert Joly President and CEO, Best Buy – email address that said:

I was at your Beaverton, Oregon location today to purchase a new television, but when I got there the location only had a hand full of television on display. Unless you were willing to spend $1000.00 or more you were just out of luck to see or hear something else. (one of your five rules for purchasing a new television) But lets overlook that problem for a second, my wife and I along with three or four other possible customer in the television department were not approached by anyone to see if we needed help. As for my wife and I not until we were leaving did someone from another department ask us if we had any question, and when we asked just one question he had to find someone to get an answer, but instead of bring someone from televisions he came back with the answer. But I did not want to ask anything else to keep him from running back and forth getting answers. If I had to guess and I will bet a majority of you sales staff is hourly not commission because of that I just don't care attitude. If anyone from the corporate office would have seen the display or better described as lack of display of television they would have cleaned house. I counted over 10 open spots on the wall to display a variety of television, but then to have a majority of what was on display off or on a different channel made it impossible to even compare what was on display. We do not purchase a television today we had it narrowed down to what we wanted but that was based on what I saw on your website, but now we need to set down and decide if Best Buy is where we want to purchase our new television from
