I was notified by letter this week that my checking account would be charged $45 for my safe deposit box. I have never been charged before for this box. I have been a faithful 5th3rd personal banking customer for many years and was very surprised.
I would like free safe deposit box continued.
I contacted my local branch but the best they would (could?) do for me was credit for one year, but I would have to pay next year. That is not a satisfactory solution.
