John sent a message to Michael O’Leary – CEO, Ryanair – Email Address that said:
I went to Poitiers Airport to collect my wheelchaired daughter Hazel from your Stanstead flight. I learned she had not been stmitted to board as she had arrived too late at the gate. She arrived at Stanstead having booked assistance but was delivered to the wrong gate and left. She was delivered from that gate to the crest gate but told she was too late even though the plane was still being boarded. She returned to the Ryanair desk where particularly unsympathetic staff charged her another £100 for a flight 2 days later having been told at the gate she would not have to pay as her late arrival was not yer fault! She was then abandoned by Ryanair and was helped to a local hotel by Airport Security. She is a frequent traveller on Ryanair travelling some 6 times round trip each year from Stanstead to either Poitiers or Limges and has been doing so for the last 8 years to visit us. She was very distressed when we spoke to her worried about her medicines and whether she could afford full bard for 2 days at the Stanstead Premier Inn. Your early comments on the foregoing would be appreciated.
John
