I wish to compliment Whirlpool on replacing my summer homes Kitchen Aid refrigerator. We bought all Kitchen Aid applicances for our summer home in Flagstaff, AZ o/a 5 years ago based on our builders recommendation! Unfortunately, last summer our microwave went and we had to spend $350+ to fix it. Then our thermostat in the oven had to be repaired o/a five years ago. Then last Aug, we had your dealer in Flag, Appliance Service Today, repair what was thought to be a plugged drain. Then this past Feb we were up in Flag to find that the refrig was not cold. It was deemed not repairable . The plugged drain was not under warranty. Apparently, under a secondary warranty, we leaned you would be replacing the unit at no cost to us. It was a total refrigerent failure. After our experience with the first refrig repair; the micro and oven, we were very disappointed in your products quality. It happens that we had to replace all of our kitchen applicances in our Phoenix home due to water leak. We purchased all GE appliances and have not had any troubles with them since our purchase 2 years ago. Needless to say, we were very pleased that you replaced our refrig, but we are still hesitant to purchase any futher Kitchen/Aid-Wihirlpool applicances going forward!
