Bill sent a message to Meg Whitman President and CEO, Hewlett-Packard Company – email address that said:
I would like to suggest that you give laptop buyers a much faster computer by substituting a 240 GB SSD drive in place of the 1TB spinning platter HD.
In my experience, consumers very rarely use more than 200GB, especially with the move to cloud storage.
A fast cpu is wasted on a machine with a slow HD.
As a computer technician, the most common complaint I get is "My computer is too slow".,
even on nearly new machines.
