We went to IHOP in lynchburg va for breakfast and the first thing we noticed was the smell. It does not smell fresh. It had a dead air old smell to it. Then we noticed the cushions had food in between and behind them. And also the cushions were dirty black and also smelled bad. The food was very good if you can stand the smell and the mess. The bathrooms were not that bad but could use a update. Nothing personal my wife and I love IHOP but we will NOT be coming back till they do something to make it cleaner and smell better.We went in and there was no host so we stood for almost five minutes before someone seated us. Then it took AT LEAST ten minutes before anyone even came to our table. We were there for 45 minutes before our food even came! Other servers walked by us and looked straight at us without drinks or anything and didn't ask if we had been helped. And no one gave us refills in that time either. We asked for a manager and service increased greatly! But that should've happened the whole time we were there. The manager was really nice and we got our food free. But it shouldn't have taken us getting a manager for good service. Food was good though PLEASE HELP US.SEE tripadvisor.com and we a nice clean IHOP thanks Ihop don't Care about their customersâ
