I'll try to make this short. I purchased a new lawn tractor in 2014 and this is my sixth Craftsman that I have purchased over many years. I usually buy a new one about every 5 years and still have 3 of my previous tractors and still use them the oldest being 1999. When I bought the last one in 2014 I had planned to keep it for many years to come. After 37 hours of run time I need a new transmission because they are made of poly instead of the aluminum that they use to be. It's under warranty and not costing me nothing right now but the next time this happens it may be out of my own pocket and I would not waste my own money on another poly transmission. I would think instead of fixing the problem with the same future problem you would put in a good aluminum transmission and lesson learned on the poly junk. My lesson learned is do more research and never buy another tractor with a poly transmission. I don.t know if you yourself will ever see this but I had to vent about a product that I have had and would have kept buying in the future but not now. Thanks for your time.
