Im having an issue with an account with suntrust. I got an account with you guys and got direct deposit in my account and my folder with my card , pin , account signon Info and my checks and ect was stolen along with some other items out of my home. I filed a claim and closed the account . the claim was not in my favor and I would like to reopen an account with suntrust. My grandmother banked with you guys for over 20 years . I was told by customer service that I would be able to open another account and its been almost a year and nothing. Im being told I have to pay the amount that is owed to reopen an account which i dont think is fair.
