Elizabeth sent a message to Mark Fields – President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company email address that said:
I'm looking to reach mark fields CEO of Ford motors to discuss my issue with my 2012 Ford focus hatch back driver door not closing do to the latch not working and Ford here in Glendale az will not fix it unless I pay $450 for it to be fixed because there is no recall on the Ford focus hatch back driver door latch but there is a recall on Ford fiesta same part! Here is az two separate cases of the Ford focus have been reported of the same problem and Ford would not fix there's as well until they contacted a local news station and reported this issue and the next day Ford contacted them and paid for it to be repaired.. All I want is it to be fixed I had nothing to do with this problem with the door and its very unsafe to drive !! All I want is for Ford to fix something that they obviously had recalled on other fords and replaced it in two separate vehicles in az that are the same type of car as mine thank you for your time my email .
