Lucille Wong sent a message to Craig Menear - Chairman, CEO and President of The Home Depot email address that said:

In June, 2016 we purchased a Samsung washing machine from Home Depot, which is a recalled product. In good faith I opted for the fix believing that Samsung would stand behind their product and really fix it, but the fix was securing the lid so that if it spun off balance it wouldnt crash through the lid. I was also told to only use the delicate and low spin cycles, which leaves my clothing/towels/bedding soaking wet. My machine also unbalances itself often leaving me to have to remove the wet clothing and reconfigure it into the machine. Clearly this is not what I expected when I purchased this machine. I called Samsung to ask for the rebate and was told that was no longer available to me since I had opted for the fix. I am asking you to step in for me. As a long-term customer of Home Depot I would hope that even if Samsung did not stand behind their product that you would stand behind me, your customer, and help with this terrible situation since I am now left with a machine Im afraid of and that doesnt work to the standards I expected. Thanking you in advance, I am, Lucille Wong, 34 Junction Road, Brookfield, CT, 06804, (203) 740-8823.
