Invitation to Tryst 2017, the annual techfest of IIT Delhi

Dear Mr. Shantanu Narayen,

ON BEHALF OF THE CO-CURRICULAR AND ACADEMIC INTERACTION COUNCIL, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (IIT) DELHI, I WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND YOU A WARM INVITATION TO DELIVER A KEYNOTE LECTURE DURING TRYST 2017, THE ANNUAL TECHNICAL FESTIVAL OF IIT DELHI.

Tryst is one of the largest and most successful technical festivals across India. It seeks to bring together the world’s leading scientific minds along with renowned technologists and influential thinkers and connect them to a broader public involving students and faculty across India. TRYST 2017 WILL BE HELD FROM 24TH FEB – 27TH FEB 2017 and will feature an impressive line-up of more than 50 Sci-Tech events including Seminars, Lectures, Workshops, Exhibitions, and Competitions. In the past we have hosted personalities such as Steve, Horst, Richard, Harry and Ryoji.

Being a technical institute, IIT Delhi has been a hotspot for creating, fostering and supporting innovators and researchers. Your life and journey, from Apple to Adobe is truly inspirational. Your valuable insights would help us prepare for the future. Our audience looks up to you for being a self-made man. The IIT Delhi fraternity shall feel greatly honored if you can join us to deliver a keynote lecture at Tryst 2017 and inspire our students and visitors by sharing your experiences.

Since the beginning of human race, we have always tried recognizing patterns out of randomness. Identifying patterns enrich us the knowledge to prophesize what lies ahead of us. Pattern recognition has been the key to multiple feats for humankind. Celestial patterns have helped humans delve deeper in space, consumer patterns have made firms rise and fall, and war tactics have changed long-established kingdoms. The human brain works in the most exquisite of ways and this year we, at Tryst, celebrate our true instincts and irreproducible zeal for ‘more out of nothing’ with the theme “/DECODING THE PATTERN/”.

The festival will kick off with an inauguration on the 24th of February, 2017, and is expected to pull massive crowds from over 300 prestigious technical colleges and schools across the country with a hope to leave every audience wanting for more. I hope that you will join us for the same. We will follow up with your schedule in the next couple of weeks.

Eagerly looking forward to your reply.

Regards,

Riya
Coordinator, Tryst 2017
