Dear Mr. Larian,
I am please to see that TRU will survive both by your purchase of 200 plus stores in the US and the purchase by others of all the Canada Stores.
Unfortunately Charles was alive to see his stores file for liquidation after he and his team worked so hard to rescue same from a liquidation in 1974.
It was not just the 5 billion in debt that sank TRU but total inept management after Charles and many of his senior executives left or retired.
I would hope Charles is smiling down and wishing you luck in your acquisition.
