Mr Isaac Larian

I'm sure you are receiving a lot of mail regarding your interest in saving Toys R Us, I hope my message isn't going to get lost in a sea of messages.

First of all I want to say thank you. I have worked really hard in a Babies R Us store in Holyoke Massachusetts for 6 years so this have been very emotional for me to see what has happened to a store I have cared so much about. I didn't anyone would step up and do what you intend to do, something I believe you will be successful with.

Over the recent years I have observed how shoppers have changed in their buying behaviours. I have spent a lot of time analyzing what is being done wrong, why shoppers are spending less in store per transaction, and making presentation adjustments to increase the sale of the average basket. I have also watched a company not make changes needed for the future success of this business.

I would love for you to save this business that so many of us care so much about, but feel the correct decisions need to be made so that stores like this can better sell to the current market.

I would love to be of help and give valuable input to help the future success of this business.

I learned something early on in my first job. I learned something valuable from our then new company president. He had a very different outlook on things. He believed that the people who understood the business best were not the people that climbed to the top of the company ladder, but instead the people at the very bottom. He learned from all of us, the people working in the trenches. I had seen this company quadruple sales very quickly , then continue to grow.

I don't believe Toys R Us had to go in the direction it did. I don't believe the online business destroyed this company, I believe it was failure to react to the changing world. Yes, I understand bad investing had a high impact on the direction of the company, but I believe with correct decisions this company would have had nowhere to go but up.

I would love to give you my bottom of the ladder experience. I would love to walk some store locations with you and talk about all the things that have been done wrong, what you must be aware of, and give solid input on what needs to be done for the future of this business.

I would love to help so much, and passionately want to see Toys R Us continue for our future generations.

Again, thank you for what you are doing, I wish you the very best success with this.

Kind regards

Craig Marshall
