I've been selling on Ebay for 11 yrs, I have to say I have never been so disgusted by how useless your customer service reps in the feedback resolution dept are. You feedback system is horrible! I have a seller rating of 99% =
I'm a 5 star powerseller and this time of year sellers like myself get idiots from all over the world who don't know what they're purchasing and destroy my feedback ratings, this happens every year! I sell on average about 300-400 items a month with excellent ratings but as usual, once again in the last week alone I've had 3 people who didn't know what it was they were buying or manipulated the system to get their item for free. This last situation has me extremely irate because I did everything Ebay asked me to do as professional as I could, the buyer closed the case admitted she was wrong, I sent her an thank you email then out of the blue a few seconds later she flipped the switch and left a very damaging negative feedback that her emails verify was untrue. Her emails even had statements like "You belong in a mental institution, you're crazy and bonkers!" This customers conduct proved the Feedback to be incorrect and your reps refused to remove the negative. This shows a blatant lack of support and respect for buyers like myself who work their tails off to make you money. Honestly this doesn't surprise me in corporate America and I'm now looking into other avenues to make income other than Ebay. I'm sick of having to spend hours on the phone with various departments to fix these sort of situations. I'm not a big company where I just can refund money without it seriously affecting me, I'm a small private seller that works her tail off and when you guys tie up my funds with buyers who are in the wrong and allow them to damage my reputation this is just downright sickening! I doubt anyone will take this email serious because the little guy just doesn't matter anymore but you need to be reminded when little guys like me start dropping away from selling on Ebay it's because you do noting to protect us!!!
