I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Rudolf Sulgan and I am an environmental photographer based in NYC.
For many years I was covering worldwide editorial assignments for Corbis and Getty images. More recently, my focus has been primarily on creating photographic essays to raise awareness on the impacts of global warming. My work has been awarded multiple times. Last year I was honored as Photographer of the Year at the prestigious Royal Meteorological Society and became an elected member of the Society.
I seek to frame climate change in a way that connects people to how it affects them individually, how it affects their community, and in ways that give them reasons for hope, with potential visual solutions to the inevitable climate change crises we are all facing if we donât act accordingly.
