I live in Louisiana and purchased a vehicle from Farmers online through CoPart.
When I finally recieved the title, it was branded non-repairable.
I transferred my insurance and drove it to town but the DMV would not issue a title.
I took it to the Ford dealer and they inspected it and it had no flood damage. I will send a copy of the report if you can help me. Texas DMV said they could change the title if Farmers approved it.
Aparently the previous owners wanted to get rid of the truck and filed a claim fraudently. I am sure your people were swamped with claims after the flood and were unable to check each one. I will pay any expenses that might be incurred to have the title modified.
I am 72 years old and this will probably the last vehicle I will ever need. I is a nice truck and I really like it.
Thanks for any help you can give me. I will even purchase my insurance from you if you have an agency in Louisian.
