RE: COF #FBWSUY

On March 15, 2020 I cancelled my flight from FLL to LAS due to the increasing fear of a growing pandemic.

The reservation was made on March 8, 2020.

Instead of receiving a refund, my money was placed in a travel bank.

The cost of the ticket was $427.96. This is a significant amount of money for me and I am requesting Jet Blue remove the money from my travelbank and issue a full refund.

I have read that the USDOT as well as US Senators are urging Airlines to give refunds to passengers when requested. At his time Allegiant , Spirit and Hawaiian are offering full refunds.

JetBlue will get their money from the CARES Act so I am requesting mine. Do the right thing as we all know the government will bale our the Airline Industry.

This is what it looks like for the Airline Industry.

The CARES Act provided the following assistance for airlines:
$25 billion in grants for passenger airlines, to be used solely to pay workers through September;
$4 billion in grants for cargo airlines solely to be used to pay workers through September;
$25 billion in loans or loan guarantees for passenger airlines;
$4 billion in loans or loan guarantees for cargo airlines;
$3 billion to pay airline and airport contractors
Thank you in advance your approval of my refund.

Sincerely,
James Seymour
