Hello. Two months ago I started delivering sandwiches on a bicycle at the downtown Greenville,SC Jimmy-Johns. I was staying at the Veterans Home about a mile away, and didnt plan on staying very long, as I have an extensive background in HVAC and refrigeration. As it turned out, I love the job and all of my coworkers and the franchise owner. I gave 110% every day I worked, and after a few weeks, this "old fat guy" was keeping pace with a lot of the veteran bike drivers. I truly love the job. Then I got hit by a car making a left turn to get a parking space. I was in the trauma unit for 10 days with a shattered pelvis, and now in a rehab facility healing up. They say the whole process may take a year. All of my coworkers and managers have been to visit me. I just want to get better and ride a bike again. I dont know why Im writing to you other than to say, you truly should be proud of all the folks at 141 E. McBee St. in Greenville. True champions of the sandwich industry!
