@JoeKaeser – Joe Kaeser – Adani need somewhere to burn their coal. Right now Adani plan to burn it in

Keith Graham sent a message to Joe Kaeser that said:

Adani need somewhere to burn their coal. Right now Adani plan to burn it in their own coal-burning power stations in India. These polluting coal stations are worsening air pollution, dispossessing local villagers of their land, and draining sacred water sources. Local residents are fighting back, but taking on a powerful, multi-billionaire corporation is tough and dangerous. So we need to make sure we have their back.
As soon as you signed the contract to help Adani your hands are blackened and all the good things you are doing to lessen your carbon foot print and helping Adani your cardan foot print has just expended a billion tomes.
The below statment comes from the Wangan and Jagalingou people, are the Traditional Owners
We, the Wangan and Jagalingou people, are the Traditional Owners of the land in Queensland’s Galilee Basin. Corporate conglomerate, Adani, wants to use our ancestral lands for their Carmichael coal mine.

We do hereby firmly REJECT a Land Use Agreement with Adani for the Carmichael mine on our traditional lands.
We DO NOT consent to the Carmichael mine on our ancestral lands.
We DO NOT accept Adani’s “offers” to sign away our land and our rights and interests in it. We will not take their “shut up” money.
We will PROTECT and DEFEND our Country and our connection to it.
Talking to the government is not such a good thing as as the government is full of climet change deniers and support coal as if you take the time to look at the green peace inversergation Below link you will under sand how many Australian are very frustrated

Want to know the real reason Scott Morrison won't act on climate even as these fires devastate our countryWe teamed up with investigative journalist Michael West to lift the lid on the toxic stranglehold that Big Coal has over our political system. We didn't anticipate the scale of what we uncovered: a secretive network behind coal’s dirty power that has infiltrated Australia federal government to its core.

India's former environment minister Jairam Ramesh is "absolutely appalled" by the Australian Government's approval of the Adani Group's massive coal mine in North Queensland, which he says will threaten the survival of the Great Barrier Reef, "a common heritage of mankind".
Key points:
• Australian politicians argued India needs Adani coal to lift poor out of "energy poverty"
• Indians "cannot afford" Adani coal, former Indian Ministry of Power head says
• Adani Group says it is an "absolute and religiously law-abiding organisation"
Mr Ramesh, an elder statesman of India's opposition Congress Party, also said the Federal Government and Queensland Government have failed to do adequate due diligence on Adani Group's environmental and financial conduct in India before granting environmental approvals and mining licenses.
"Adani Group's track record on environmental management within the country [India] leaves a lot to be desired," Mr Ramesh told Four Corners.
"And if it leaves a lot to be desired domestically, there's no reason for me to believe that Adani would be a responsible environmental player globally."

According to the fact finding report by JJM, at the end of October this year, nearly 500 acres of land have already been acquired from four villages namely Mali, Gangta Gobindpur, Motia and Patwa. The villagers, however, are resisting the hand over their land. Mali and Gangtha Gobindpur villages are fully inhabited by Santhal tribes. Over 40 families have been affected by this illegal acquisition of land as per the report.
“This project is being set up by grossly violating various laws and rules. Tribal and poor farmers are being harassed and their lands as well as livelihood is being taken away in contravention of the law. Adani Group has adopted a series of manipulations and mis-representations to subvert legal processes,” the reported stated.

With air pollution reaching 'severe' levels every winter in the national capital, the Delhi government on Monday joined hands with the Washington University to monitor real-time air quality and identify pollution sources in the city for the next 18 months.
