Margaret Whiting sent a message to Joe Kaeser that said:
I am very worried about climate change and I'm investing stock only in companies that have committed to get out of fossil fuel energy projects.
I had identified Siemens as a leader in renewable energy and asked my financial advisor to purchase stock in Siemens. I am very disappointed since I found out that Siemens is investing in the Adani coal mine.
Every company must take responsibility to make the right choices. Scientists tell us we must stop burning coal now. This is the moral thing to do...and it will be the best financial decision because solar energy is cheaper than coal.
