I bought a pair of leather gloves during the spring of 2015. They started tearing right before the palm of the right hand glove. Sent them into Harley to be evaluated. They came back and claimed I tore them on something and that is why they failed. This isnt true. This is a material design defect (would've been better to have used leather all the way) due to the weakness in material that allowed for premature tearing. After 3 months of ownership of high cost gloves, I expected much more.
I have purchased much apparel from Harley which has been great until now. I'm disappointed in the callous way I was treated at the dealership for which I've spent lots of money and the blatant untrue accusation of tearing them causing failure.
I realize that this is going to possibly fall on deaf ears naturally or just completely ignored, but fyi; You have lost a customer of apparel and definitely generations of future bike owners (including my family).
