As a client of Fisher Investments, I'd like to point out to you how your compliance group is out of step and out understanding of electronic signatures. I have been asked to provide wet signatures of documents which are legally valid with e-signatutes. This has been legal in the US since it's signing in 2000. I have a good rapport with my advisors and have been happy with my relationship with Fisher Investments. But this silly, and obtrusive demand that i supply wet signatures for changes to my accounts has given me pause to consider moving my account and using social media to vent my frustration with this archaic thinking and nit picky control over MY money.
