Hilal sent a message to Kazuo Hirai President and CEO, Sony Corporation – email address that said:
Konnichi wa Mister Hirai,
I have purchased Sony Xperia z3 a year ago which on advertisements claim being water proof. The phone, upon contact with water, has become inoperable. I have sent the device with necessary documents to Official Sony support center (Arvato Bertelsmann Teleservice) but have not received any feedback for a month. I am unable to get any updates on whether my phone will be repaired and if so when.
This situation has put me in disarray as a Sony customer as I was expecting an excellent service and a product which matches advertised qualifications. As I could not find any customer service, I have decided to reach out to you in final desperation.
