Robin sent a message to Rodney McMullen – Chief Executive Officer of The Kroger Co. email address that said:
Kroger and Ralphs stands for more than just fresh food and product selection - it also stands for providing excellent customer service -this I have seen. I had an unforgivable, situation at the 3rd and LaBrea store in Los Angeles, CA. The manager approached me and loudly verbally assaulted and told that I was to be thrown out if I took more paper napkins than needed and I was using my hands to access the salad bar (this is false). I shop there daily since it is only store that carries the complete (but limited) array of what I eat and can afford. I am low income (really low income and struggling to survive) so yes I took more napkins - which I often use to discard the berries I eat that are mushy. I do not deserve this treatment, and since his arrival there, I notice the once upbeat atmosphere has turned depressing and the employees either leave or are noticeably stressed. I suggest you let him go (I have his name on a receipt of course not with me now) but he has black hair and a manicured beard. I once applied at a hiring event but did not make the cut. I went deaf in 2002 with surgery to somewhat correct my hearing.
Please I suggest you replace this man as he makes the experience so unpleasant and completely power hungry. Ask the employees - if they are not afraid to respond. The morale is very low.
