Dear Mr. McMullen,
Let me begin this email by saying that I adore the pharmacy staff at the Kroger in Short Pump, Virginia. (in Richmond area). I have been a customer there for decades and have enjoyed watching the Pharmacist's families grow up (Mike and Rebecca) ...and they ask about my grandchildren.

I am writing to ask about your policy of prescription transfer rewards since I just began receiving Medicare. I was told that there may be a conflict with receiving any "incentive" such as the $25 prescription transfer fee for persons on Medicare...because it might be interpreted as "being on a federal program". I can understand that Medicaid is paid by the federal government and would not be included. Medicare, however, and my Medicare supplement insurance is totally paid for by me, and is the alternative upon turning 65 for those who retire.

I hope you will tell me that the transfer incentive is allowable for those who receive Medicare, as I don't want to lose my awesome Pharmacists and move toward mail order service. The $25 incentive comes in handy for groceries, which I purchase from my other Kroger awesome staff!!

Thank you Mr. McMullen, for your reply, and thanks to my Short Pump Kroger Pharmacists!!!!
