Kim Cummins sent a message to Rodney McMullen that said:
Dear Mr. Mcmullen,
I wanted to let you know the service I received at your Kroger store in Pinckney Michigan was the most appalling yet to date. We used your pack and go system and then they flagged us to check our bags. They believed we were stealing your food. The lady comes over and went and picked through each of our bags $225.00 worth of groceries and during this time of Covid 19 I do not appreciate this behavior. She literally touched every item we had. I am marking this date with an email because if any of us gets sick in 10 to 14 days I am letting my family know so we can take a lawsuit action against your company. The most ironic part about it she accused us of not scanning an item and "low and behold" it was scanned. Your business model sucks! You are saving on cashiers which offsets the cost of anything people are stealing and you are harassing the innocent people. It is the minors that steal the most often and they scan nothing. They just walk out of your store with it in hand. If you don't trust the patrons go back to cashiers. Your manager at the store was not helpful at all. I am letting anyone I know how awful your practices are.
