Robert sent a message to Rodney McMullen that said:
Hi, I am writing because someone in my family is a member of management in your company. I just want to say that for a company that everyone has spouted to me over the years as being a 'family', you all sure dropped the ball on your members of management during this COVID-19 pandemic. Your management has been working tirelessly, 6-7 days a week, going in during the day and returning that same night, down in the trenches with your regular employees to ensure these Kroger stores are adequately ran during this pandemic. It was a real slap in the face when I was told that your '$300 appreciation bonus' was not going to be given to management / salary workers, who have ramped up well over 60-70 hours a week for your company with no additional compensation. Yet hourly workers who get overtime for the effort they put in are given handouts. On top of that the appreciation call to them was a recorded call. I urge you to take a closer look at your management and recognize them for the heroes they are just like everyone else. These men and women are sacrificing their family to be there when you need them, and all you are doing is slapping them in the face for it.
