I am writing as a representative of the environmental action group of APA (Arvadans for Progressive Action) to request that all Kroger stores quit supplying single-use plastic bags.
I shop at King Soopers and see people checking out with 30 to 40 plastic bags per trip. Often there is one item in a bag.
It is projected that if we do not curb our use of plastics, there will be more plastic than fish in our oceans by 2050.
Please do your part to avoid that catastrophe.
