We put in two orders 11/12/2020. The first order#1203167706133527701 Kroger on HWY529 in Houston, Texas. The lettuce was smashed so bad it had to be thrown away.
We put in another order at 8550 Highway 6 North, Houston, Texas (Easton Commons Kroger) Order#1203177123888993201 to be up picked up between 6 p.m.-7 p.m. We arrived at the store and had to wait an extra 40minutes past our 6-7p.m. pick-up. The chicken was cooked at 3:33 p.m. according to the label and was room temperature when we received it indicating improper care and possible salmonella for not keeping the chicken at the proper temperature. We are elderly and depend on Kroger for our groceries "NO" excuse is acceptable (new staff is screwed up everything-excuse we were given), when the safety of food is YOUR business. We would like a credit for our chicken ($7.99) and our lettuce ($1.49) that had to be thrown away.
Train your staff. I repeat “the safety of food is YOUR business.”
We are in a pandemic and I will not go to the hospital because of Kroger's lack of integrity and safety for serving customers.
