"Dear Mr. Larry Merlo, my name is Linda Gonzalez. A few days ago I sent the following message to customer service. "I'm 70 and needed to get my medicine so I went to CVS on Mack Road, Sacramento. It was around 1 p.m. on 3/23/2020. I wanted to buy just 1 pack of toilet tissue. Unfortunately, I didn't hoard them. The manager told me they were in the back but she wasn't going to put them out until later in the afternoon. I asked her very nicely to just get me 1 because of Coronavirus I'm trying to stay home. Further, she wouldn't give me a time to return. She was sooo rude and I had to ask her to explain herself several times due to a heavy accent. It almost seems I was asking for lots of things. Just 1 pack of toilet paper. I took her picture and the other manager came in and made me take it off my phone. I rarely get upset but she was so rude and disrespectful. All she had to do was go to the back and pick up 1 packet of bathroom tissue. Under the Coronavirus episode you would think the manager would have made an exception to walk a few steps. I had never seen this manager but I'll never go back to this pharmacy and store again. I have written a review on Yelp and Facebook. Already, I've gotten responses wondering why CVS would be more helpful to a senior, especially during this virus. I will go to other CVS Pharmacies but I'm urging all my neighbors and friends not to support this store. Thank you for your time." As I am a senior, I first called CVS pharmacy on Mack to see if they had a specific medication before I ventured out. The automated system put me on hold for over 15 minutes so I hung up and went to the store. I was able to get the medication, but when I went for the TP, the manager told me with an attitude, that I would have to come back in the afternoon because it would be too hard for her to go get it because it's in the back. Needless to say. I'm not going back.

I've seen the cashier arguing with a customer, like name calling and all and the last time I was there, the cashier was snoty to me because I dint understand the sign she wrote on the debit pad. It said use the pin. She meant use the pen, to tap on the touchscreen. I saw pin and thought like a personal identification number. Anyways, I've stopped going there. And the pharmacy is understaffed. They never have my meds ready but I feel like it's not the pharmacy staffs fault cause they are always super busy and rushing around when I go there.

Did you get TP? Are you mobile? The Walmart on Elk Grove blvd has it every morning when they open at 7. Tuesdays the first hour is devoted for seniors(from 6am to 7am), and my girlfriend said the Walmart grocery store next up it had TP today at around 11am.

.....for the record. I DO NOT LIKE that CVS. I went there once and the manager had stolen rent money of another employee! It was a mess. Yelling, then he tried to yell at me for coming in 7 whole minutes before they closed. I never went in there again no matter how convienient it for me! I'm sorry this happened to you. I just wanted you to know that when this store opened we were so excited to have our own CVS near us. We need to be treated as an important customer with respect. I am sure the few people who also have had concerning issues with the managers represent many more out there that have not wanted to shop there. I was an educator and social worker and have served this community for years. The least I can ask for is a respectful treatment. Thank you for your time and for reading this note. Linda Gonzalez
