Last evening, I received the following email (the first one). Since we live in Colorado – Edward Lampert email address

Gail Aust sent a message to Edward Lampert Chairman and CEO of Sears Holdings Email Address that said:

Last evening, I received the following email (the first one). Since we live in Colorado not New York, you can imagine my surprise and bewilderment. I double checked and do not have a Visa card ending in 0411 so I was more confused. This morning my husband called Sears and after speaking with several people, he was informed that "somehow they had inadvertently used my email address instead of the correct purchaser and that the purchaser had been sent an email with the corrected information."
We thought everything had been rectified and the issue was taken care of. Early this afternoon - here comes another email requesting that I do a survey regarding "my" purchase. Also copied and pasted below the first email.
We have shopped with Sears using our Sears credit card and currently are paying on a washer/dryer that we purchased last December.
After the fiasco of receiving too much information regarding another customer, I would be very leery to shop at Sears. I am afraid that they would divulge my personal information to a complete stranger that they evidently have done with the other customer.
