Jane E Bardon sent a message to David Long that said:
I have canceled my LM auto insurance less than six months after I received it on 4/28/18.
Reasons:
1. Lack of Transparency. The quote of $383 p.a. to which I agreed was based on acceptance of the allegedly voluntary, undisclosed surveillance feature. When I declined the feature, I was charged an additional $40.00. Comment: If it costs money, it is not really voluntary.
On 8/20/18, I added an additional vehicle to my policy for $520 p.a. The cost of insuring two vehicles became $1100, although the price of insuring the first vehicle was oto $423.
On 10/9/18, I asked for vehicle one to be removed because I donated it. I received a refund of $74 and a new policy for $1063 for the same 2006 Honda CRV, which was insured for $520 on 8/20/18.
The explanation was that I lost my multi-vehicle discount. Nobody answered my question re: the cost of the multi-vehicle discount. I imagine it varies according to an obscure formula.
A couple of agents with whom I spoke refused to provide information on how to lodge a complaint.
2. One of your competitors beat your price, although they use snail mail for their documents.
