On April 20th I wired $100,000. to Marcus from my USSA account to open a joint account with my husband Col Ronald Blau. I did so because I already had 3 CD's with Marcus totaling almost $250,000 and I wanted a joint account for tax purposes. I filled out the application including my husband on line. I just today received confirmation of this CD by email and no names were listed so I called Marcus. and was told there was no joint account and there was nothing I could do to add him.,unless I wanted a penalty of over $1,000. and closed out the account. This was not my fault and I could not have know he was not on the account until today. It seems very unfair,leaving me with no FDIC insurance on the money, Please let me add him to my account.
